Our daughter is due to arrive in about two and a half weeks.
Mr Oh brought up the idea of settling into a routine of family prayer once we have a child. We decided to make a place in our house where we could sit and pray the rosary, both in English and Spanish, once a week.
So, we went to a local Catholic bookstore and bought a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
We found a corner shelf on sale at another store and set it up in our dining room.
And we ordered some prayer booklets online.
After throwing in some other books we owned, a candle, and some fresh flowers...our little altar is set!

James helped Hannah pray for her milk last night. :o)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a super nice place for the rosary! Family prayer sounds really cool... also the part where you're going to be teaching little Mary Spanish!
